Democracy for All Alaskans

Empowering every voice to participate in shaping Alaska’s future.

At The Alaska Center Education Fund, we are building a thriving, inclusive democracy—one where every Alaskan has the knowledge, access, and support to make their voice count.

Through the Democracy for All Alaskans program, we protect voting rights, educate voters, and increase turnout across the state, focusing on youth, BIPOC communities, and those in rural and Indigenous communities.

Our Impact

Protecting Voting Rights
We advocate for policies that expand voting access, ensuring that geography, race, language, or identity are never barriers to participation.
Voter Education
We aim to provide clear, accessible information on Alaska’s voting system and what’s on the ballot. Our goal is to ensure that all voters understand how their vote impacts the issues that matter most to their communities.
Engaging Underrepresented Communities
Our outreach focuses on empowering historically underrepresented communities, including youth, BIPOC communities, and rural and Indigenous populations.
Leadership Development
Through programs like our Youth Civic Engagement Fellows Program and Alaska Boards & Commissions Leadership Program, we create opportunities for young Alaskans to gain leadership experience, advocate for their communities, and shape Alaska’s civic engagement landscape.
