Lead for change with the Alaska Boards & Commissions Leadership Program (ABCLP)!

Thank you for your interest in the Alaska Boards & Commissions Leadership Program (ABCLP)! Applications for our inaugural cohort are now closed.

ABCLP is designed to empower Alaskans to address critical challenges in environmental, social, and community equity by preparing them to apply for and serve on municipal or state-level boards and commissions. Over the course of five engaging sessions, participants gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to step into leadership roles. As part of the program, participants receive a stipend for attending while building a network of diverse leaders who represent their communities and are ready to shape Alaska’s future.

We are excited by the enthusiasm from Alaskans eager to lead and make a difference! While applications for this session have closed, we plan to offer an expanded program later this year. Stay tuned for updates by visiting our website—we look forward to welcoming more future leaders in the next cohort!
