Year-round Programs

Just because it’s getting colder doesn’t mean it’s time to retreat indoors. At Trailside, we are committed to providing quality, safe, and educational programming for Alaskan youth all year long. We aim to keep kids active, exploring, learning, and having fun! 

Fall In-Service Days

This year’s fall programming will be FULLY OUTDOORS. We will utilize the pavilion on-site as well as ice fishing tents with heaters for warming spaces.

REGISTRATION OPENS: Monday, October 2 at 10am!

  • October 27: Tricks & Treats- GRID
  • November 10: Harvest Festival- GRID

Tuition:

$75/day

Check-In:

9-10 AM, Pick Up 3:30- 5:00 PM

Transportation:

Transportation into Anchorage is provided by TDC, to serve our Chugiak/Eagle River families. Register for transportation for $5/day.

BUS PICK-UP LOCATION:

Eagle River Town Square Park (playground side)

  • DROP OFF: 8:30AM - 8:45 AM; BUS LEAVES: 8:45 AM
  • PICK UP: 4:30PM - 5:15PM

Winter Break:

December 22, 27-29, & January 2-5, 2023.

Join us for crafts, cross-country skiing, winter animal lessons, snowshoeing, outdoor winter safety lessons, and more! While we do have access to heated spaces, all campers must be prepared for the outdoors. *Lesson/Activities are subject to change based on weather. REGISTRATION OPENS NOVEMBER 1, 2023.

During Spring Break Camp campers will enjoy nature hikes, uncovering animal tracks, investigating changing seasons, wilderness safety, and so much more! Campers will have access to heated spaces through group rotations, but please note that the majority of the day will be spent outdoors! SPRING into FUN!
