Summer Arts in Action Trainings
Are you interested in how art can be used as a tool for social change? Want to try out some fun new art skills? Join AYEA for an Arts-in-Action workshop! Over Summer 2024, we'll be hosting workshops in Fairbanks, Kodiak, and Anchorage. Scroll down to register!
Community organizers have long used art to tell stories and make bold statements that inspire community action. At this workshop, you'll learn arts-in-action techniques like screen printing and banner painting that you can use in your own community, and you'll get to make your own art piece that shares a message that's important to you.
These trainings are open to Alaskan teens ages 13-18! No prior art or activism experience necessary.
